The United Covenant Union was founded in 2019 by clergy who recognized that a growing number of people were relying on food banks and working informally as domestic workers, day laborers, and for tips. Grounded in pluralism, and proudly interfaith, The United Covenant Union is a mutual aid organization that works to avert social isolation, prevent wage theft, and rebuild civil society. We organize our members into chapels that are faith communities, worker cooperatives, and peer groups - all in one!
If you are willing to pay a worker $25 per hour, on the same day of labor - we can connect you with one of our chapel members!
